I don't know at what point in their lives this engineer and this microbiologist decided to change their lives and embrace this Palace... but , as a visitor, I must say this was a right move!

They restored the house to its full beauty. This could be a large, country side house in Vila Real from the 18 hundredths if it wasn't for the luxuriously tropical gardens and our Indian taxi driver encouraging us to go in.

The best part of the visit was the lunch! Served in a shadowed veranda, in a familiar atmosphere, we had some of the best Goan food of the trip! Lunch included more items than the photos below show... but some were eaten so fast, I didn't even had the time to picture them!
