Next roof top bar I hit in Beijing...

I'll be doing it... gangnam style!

And at the third attempt.... Mexico loved me back!

After 2 visits to Mexico that ended up with me sick... I went to mexico and came back healthy!!!!

So i can finally say... I loved Mexico (food/ drinks) and Mexico loved me back :)

Unfortunately for me...  I liked it!

B-day (this was supposed to be posted on the 12th Sept, but with the compliments of PRC blogger.com was not working in China!)

I have been trying to convince myself that is ok not to have a birthday celebration, nor cake and that I will celebrate once I get to China or once I return to Geneva, but let’s be honest… It just sucks!

Spending one’s birthday alone and travelling sucks! I can guarantee that I feel cranky and furious and the fucking bad manners and borderline incompetence of the staff taking care of the check in in Porto only added up to my unhappiness.

I know, I know… stop whining… you are on your way to China and you love China… which is all true. I do love China… but fuck! Did I have to travel there alone on my birthday???

Apparently, YES!

So… happy-freaking-birthday to me!

Thinking about future weekend trips...

In London I...

Saw the best stand-up comedy show ever
Saw one of my favourite bands of all time 
Rubbed shoulders with Pink (yes, the singer) without realizing that was her (only at first!)
Had the best Indian food outside India
Almost got late to a flight because I wanted to go to my favourite t-shirt shop in Carnaby street
Unexpectedly met random friends from geneva in Piccadilly circus
Saw the highest number of drunk people on the tube
Walked on Baker street and poked around Sherlock Holmes’ house
Drank Pims at 6pm in a work function without realizing it was alcoholic
Ate fish and chips for dinner three nights in a row
Stayed in a really cool boutique hotel near Victoria Station (and hoped I would know how to replicate that decor in my house!)

A proposito de um voo da ryanair, tinha esta frase num email sobre as limitações na bagagem: 

"Please note the following important information regarding cabin baggage:
• Strictly one item of cabin baggage is permitted per passenger (excluding infants) weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (your handbag, briefcase, laptop, shop purchases, camera etc. must be carried in your 1 permitted piece of cabin baggage)."

Enquanto procurava (em vao) uma lata de atum - sempre assustador quando percebo que se acabou o atum - Descobri no meu armario de cozinha uma lata de leite condensado cujo prazo expirou em Maio de 2011!

Ainda ponderei abrir e provar... mas depois tive medo do cogumelo que ja la estivesse dentro... so I passed! Deixar estragar leite condensado não é de pessoa decente!

Shame on me!
